Hope

Deprivations slave
On cold island rock
Forced into a cave
Held against my will
Captive from daylight

Mean men take me
Tie me with rope
Seal the entrance
No food, no sleep

I smile wide
Earthquake comes
Releases

Freedom!

Me

Hi Casarah, Thank you so much. You are too kind. I was actually influenced by your "Some Kind Of Luck" Diminished Hexaverse in writing my poem. I don't do this style of poetry as a career so I looked to the pro, (you) to get a clue. Your poem was very nice and interesting by the way. Thank you for your inspiration. Have a great day. Earl
