"hope"

Flying through the sky tonight , my wings so spread
and gliding right....
The view from here is not so grand, I hope and pray
that one day I'll land...
Another flight though a diffrerent scene , a look from
here floats down the stream...
Now to place where none can eat , yet another part
only searches for defeat ...
So many plant seeds and pray for sun , yet in our
world children carry guns...
My thoughts of peace may fall to the side , But in
my heart I know some how we will survive...

It really is hard to keep hope alive when children are using guns. It's a sad state of affairs, but I do admire your optimism. Very compelling poem! Love, Carolyn
