Hope

She longed to hear his laughter
and see his smile for real
to be in his arms for comfort
and oh the warmth she’d feel
She dreamt of times together
but loneliness tugged her heart
she desired his tender touch
but they were miles apart
She held on to the hope
their souls would find a way
to finally be together
and all would be OK.
She closed her eyes to see
he closed his eyes to view
the magic of their love entwined
they felt it through & through.
Within the cosmic stardust
far beyond what’s seen
Their inner souls unite
they are the king and queen.
