Hope

Cruel World seeks hope within lies We turn our heads as Mother Earth cries Like birds, hope may fly when confronting lies. Wee butterfly gives a try to bring Hope back unscathed. It flits over meadows, purple hills; stops for a drink of rose nectar sweet. Enlists the help of a summer breeze, for it covers more land and is fleet. we long to find hope yet it dwells deep within each sitting by courage April 5, 2022 A Combination of Forms Poetry Contest Crystalline, Kimo, Quatrain, Haiku by Emile Pinet howmanysyllables.com for syllable check

So inspiring, especially the last line with hope and courage together, very true, we could all use more of both~
