Hooray An Extra Day Off

We teachers were eagerly looking forward to Friday March 13th, 2020. Because at 4:30 our spring vacation was to start – a whole week vacation. Oh, man! We were excited! A week of rest would be plenty. But then a robot call told us to tune in to a certain TV station. We were told not to report to school the next day! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! An extra day off is what most of us thought. What a great thing! Never realizing what a pandemic could bring.
