Hooked
Hooked to an I.V.
born prematurely
Named her Hope
to keep faith afloat
She grew and grew
started school
Hooked on Capt’n Crunch
to get her to lunch
Hooked on the internet
bullied online
People are Evil
told her end your life
Looking for solutions
she ran across a rhyme
Help is on the way
get offline and pray
Give your problems
to the lord
Show your parents
every single word
True beauty shines
from within
Sometimes in life
God’s your only friend
Believing this sign from God
Starting praying traveled abroad
Hooked on the rush
From the souls she touched
Still eats Capt’n Crunch
To make it to lunch
When the light looks dim
at the end of the tunnel
Count on God
to get you out of trouble!
