Honeysuckle Scents

Honeysuckle scents so strong, lingering through the air
Pulling me closer to the memories that I remember were there.
The summer I wanted to feel everything, as you pulled close to me
Waiting for our first kiss, that brought me to my knees.
A secret romance, no one in our world could know
A flame burning and hot, as we connected, soldering us both below.
The feeling of the cool grass under my skin with your warm embrace
As our bodies, become one soul under the stars, flying off into space.
Honeysuckle scents stay on mind as summer comes again
And I meet with you under moon, loving you a lifetime as we transcend.

Beautiful poem Holly. The sense of memory to that romantic moment is deeply expressed. Enjoyable overall. Check out some of mine. peace.
