Honey

Remember the blue evening sky but the dinner wasn't ready...........yet
Remember how glued the phone was to............................................you
Their attention stole you from me, because of them you were..........still
You texted and sexted back to back, to satisfy their..........................want
And there I sat watching, pretending to be happy, all okay with..........me
The nyama choma came, and many cheers of beers.............................to
Glitter our moment, but after that day I promised not to.......................call
You my honey, because I was just a number, I didn't mean much to.....you
Weird, surprising and unfortunate that you still beg me to call you.....honey

I never knew that this 'end line word' little business could beget an opus of this enviable quality. Originality and skill are evident throughout...Ending in lines that qualify the theme and title. There's commendable improvement in your poetry and I believe you will carve yourself a niche in the memory of history....Keep keeping on! 7+++!
