Home Work On Dreams and Persistence

I see her sitting center of that grey mattress bare legs curled beneath, double checking my sheet: a bare bulb cast a glow on cob webs hanging down, all around cicadas and crickets chirp in the rustle of night life. Sleepy and weepy I'm grateful to be at her side again. I cling to her words- my lessons in dreams and persistance. I see our lives revolving around in a web of connections in patterns. I see my choices and views, their angles and reflections. I see her faith and hope of love to begin again. And now I sit with my son before bed legs curled beneath, double checking his sheet and it is not his homework I see.
