Home Garden

With nowhere better to go, I nurture home.
Rows of sown seed need me
to sing them to fruition
with the moisture of tender words,
coziness brushing buds
with benevolent thrums.
Following intuition's petition,
pebble stones, thyme whiffs, skipping feet,
flower power spells, and blue bells' ring,
I'm welcomed to the scene:
veggies competing in diversified strides,
flourishing fruit trees with wings it seems,
verdure upstretched to light's extensive dive,
joining birdsong chorus lifts,
with fervent desire to thrive
from life to life like Eden's beginning.
The first ripe cherry flushes
with sun's zingy red depths,
plush with juicy secrets beyond
comprehension's clutch.
I ingest this portion of wisdom
while studying God's living gifts,
with humble recognition,
so much is yet unknown.

My garden is my happy place. Your garden is just lovely. Beautiful use of words Juliet woven into living imagery! So enjoyed my visit to your garden. Best wishes for the contest! I see this on the winners list!
