HOME ALONE

On one cozy night
I was home alone
All by myself in my bed
In solidarity I resided
Sobering over my thoughts
Hoping for breakthrough and more.

It was thought of elevation
Being down for too long
Without a lover and friends
Craving for success
This strange feeling submerging
My thoughts and memories.

Arose a voice within
A voice in my head says
When you're looking outside
You're dreaming
But when you look within
You're awake and ready.
