I'm back to where i belong It make me strong To correct all my wrong Remind me of my song Home, sweet home There is no place like home Walking in the street with my boy Dancing with great joy Nothing to fear As i knew everywhere In my neighbourhood Playing with my childhood Long time friend The journey had end Now i am so free Like the birds in the tree I am enjoying my freedom I'm back in my kingdom Many years i cross Now i am the boss Oh! when i come They say, welcome back home Scheming day and night Just to see the light What took me so long Only to see where i belong I miss my beautiful darling mother What a happy day to see my brother and sister! I love my home The Gambia is my home
