Last night I painted a masterpiece
A picture of my fantasy home
This home contains pieces of you
Instead of buckets of roses
I colored our walls red
To match our burning love

The floor is made of stones
To bear the weight of our love
Our windows are painted in blue
So the sky lets us reach high
As high as we desire to fly

Our kitchen made of steel
Fresh herbs, the scent of rosemary
Always ready to add taste
A delicious meal we eat
While you make me laugh
With memories of our yesterday

In our garden, we grow apple trees
Tulips and Tiarella cordifolia growing
Greets us every morning with their fragrance
You look at me smiling while we sip our tea

My fantasy home still remains my masterpiece
Yet it’s my burning desire to attain
That not only will you be mine
But my fantasy home will be our home
