You are the fuse that ignites my soul
The muse that makes words flow
You are everything in my life
I swore I'd never know
You are the sihlouette I once imagined
A dream that makes hearts flow
The very reason I'd awake each morning
Enduring past pains I've only known
So I set upon my journey
In my heart I had to go
Knowing the thousands of Earths miles
It take to make you known
I trucked through pain and blisters
Endured hunger, thirst
Mountain inclines, desert heat
Even the cold of driven snow
After all this it was you, I realized
Where my soul felt most at home
They say home is where the heart is
Regardless of where you've roamed
It took humbleness for me to realize
Home wasn't a destination I'd ever go
But to rest in the arms near your beating heart
Is where mine felt most at home
