Holy Is the Lamb

I thought I knew the answers
I thought I could go it alone
I thought my way into a corner
I thought Mary's little lamb was a fairy tale

Am I the sum of what I think?
I think I am not wanted
I think I am not good enough
I think I am invisible
I think
I think
I think something is missing
I need a fleece as white as snow

Shall I go?
Go through the valley of the shadow?
Go to the mountain top?
I have gone many places
Every where I went I was told
The Lamb was sure to go!

Holy is the Lamb
Holy is the child of Mary
Holy is His blood stained fleece
Holy is His sacrifice

White
Spotless white
My soul white and clean
Washed by Jesus's holy blood
Holy is the Lamb
Holy is the Lamb
With fleece as white as snow!

Dear Richard, Wow! I absolutely adore the way you worked the nursery rhyme into your feelings about the Holy Lamb of Christ. I do believe that wherever we go, the Lamb follows us or even leads us. Congratulations! Love, Carolyn

I love this one! Favorite! The line "I thought my way into a corner" Oh if I had a penny for every time I have done that, I may be rich now.

Wow, Richard this is not what one would expect under this title. We all harbor such thoughts through life but the lamb is always there to make us worthy.

How true Brenda. We are all the children of a King yet we choose to conduct ourselves as paupers. So many of us do not see ourselves with loving eyes.

Beautiful, Richard. The only love that is unchangeable and unconditional. You have portrayed this so very well. It speaks volumes to your faith. Good luck on the contest.
