Holistic

HOLISTIC

To learn tolerance and with it abide,
To select in whom to confide,

To share, to protect and to love,
And to pray, for strength from above.

To mellow with time as a treasured wine,
To forget and accept, and never regret,

To try to forgive and never to hate,
And to learn about life before it’s too late.

I found this very deep and spiritual. It seems as if your last couple of poems were written just for me. I have taken it in, acknowledged and will live life to the fullest! Thank you Jennifer. Kim

Absolutely Kim, Be like Barbie, go out and and party, I mean with Graham of course! Our lives are like a roller coaster, so we must enjoy the good times! The spirituality of life is always there, but sometimes disguised! xoxo, Jennifer.

You are so right Alturo! A lot of this is self discipline, which is sometimes hard to apply to ourselves. The forgiving one can do, but forgetting takes time, if ever we can. Kindest regards, Jennifer.

Your meaningful advice is to be heeded, Jennifer. Sometimes we might find the going hard or slippery, but hopefully we learn as we go along. ~ Warm regards // paul

"To select in whom to confide" may prove to be the toughest challenge facing most people, so thanks for emphasising it! Well done! Aloha! Rico

Good morning Rico, it is difficult and sometimes those you select to confide in, let you down. It goes hand in hand with trust! Take care, Yasou, Jennifer.
