HOLIDAY LIMERICKS

Holidays come with vacation-glee As students from assignments can flee Toward freedom flight Outside classroom blight Optimizing adventurous spree. Oh, welcoming holidays with zest Our pupils feel they are very blest Praying* for grand days To enjoy great ways Not pressured by pen and paper test.
*Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. November 6, 2024 3rd place, "Holiday Humor- Limerick Set" Poetry Writing Contest Sponsored by Tania Kitchin; judged on 11/17/2024
