Well, John, bikes may be a little overrated, anyway. I do agree that Christmas starts far too early. Happy Holidays, none-the-less!

- I'm bad at writing limericks, John But these two could have been mine I would just replace the last line: But I still didn't get my doll's pram - Christmas isn't what it used to be :) - hugs

I enjoyed reading your fun Limerick writes. Sorry you did not get your bike. Many kids do not get what they really want. Christmas is about Christ. Today everyone makes it about self or things. As a kid, we had an old/poor lady living in back of us. On Christmas morning, I saw her walking in our yard. She was putting 2 cans of government food at our door as her gift from Santa. We did Not need it but she did. Have a blessed day/Christmas.............

I enjoyed your limericks, John. Poor guy. You never got your bike. I had to walk all over my city one summer selling Xmas cards but I finally made the. 44 dollars for my purple Stingray. Had to always work as a child for anything extra I wanted. That summer I got boils on my arms!

Once Santa brought my sis and me a watch - A Cinderella watch, they were top notch - Came in a glass slipper too - Plastic, between me and you - Wearing that watch made us feel very posh.….. Sis Beryl

Hi John! Many forget what Christmas is for. Bet you people forgget it is about Christ! Here in the USA, there has been a move to not say Merry Chistmas in stores. Anyway, Christmas exists in your heart. A nice way to have a rich Christmas, is to lonely people in nursing homes! I liked both limericks. Am calling Santa to get you a bike, OK! Pangie visit nursing homes. Older folks will surely appreciate you.

I saw Muslim supporters on GB yesterday, holding signs, Never Again? How hypocritical. In the US, they are not Muslims but Soros funded Americans of all nationalities, their game is playing victim. There are no Palestinians, they can howl all they like. Terrible they effect people that way. They are odd.plus! Pangiexx

Hi Pangie, in the UK christianity is being eroded for some reason, It seems those in power don't want to upset the Muslim population. So from me it's Merry Christmas not happy holiday.

Brother John, Christmas must be a sad time for you, just allow past happy days to get you through. It’s almost time for snowy winds to start blowing, and to get the Christmas Limericks flowing… Sis Beryl

man having lost integrity has started to demand the very universe, so Santa changed his number. In my southindian culture, there is a story: a righteous king asked a boon - to allow him to visit his subjects once in a year. That marked day is diwali. Now celebrated no doubt but without understanding the values. Everything is Changing. Your poem has layers of meaning dear poet.
