Hold Out Hope
keep expecting you to come back
keep waiting for the day that you
will finally decided to stay for real
holding out hope that one day
you will not pretend to reconcile
with me just to turn around
and leave me once more
i know that i should just
give up all hope that you
will ever truly stay around
but i just can not give up
no matter how much i have
tried to i am never able to
truly give up the hope that
one day in the future that we will
be friends once again till the end
