Hold My Hand

What is this that I see? Tears are falling from your eyes. I love you and only you. I won't deceive nor tell you lies. What is this that I sense? You feel hopeless and in stress. Look this way. Run to me. I'll give you hope; I'll do my best. What is this that I hear? Your voice is crying in the air. Don't you know that I am here. Do you know I really care? Babe, this life is all we have; and this life we have to live. This great gift in life I have is loving you. I shall not fear. When this life gets really hard and there is no strength to give. Say my name. I'll be there to lift you up; you know I'm here. See the storm? It is there. See the lighting? Hear the thunder? Like this storm, you are troubled. So you sit and often wonder. But there is no need to wonder. No, there is no need to fear. Hold my hand. Babe, I'm here. It is your love I hold so dear. Like the moon up in the sky, my world revolves around you. You're my soul and everything. This my love, is simple truth. Hold my hand, it makes us one. Babe, you know that I am here. When we're both hand in hand it seems to cast out all your fear. So let us two walk on together. For you dear, I'll always stand. I'll not run nor will I hide. I'll be your shield, not just your man. When the darkness comes upon you and there is no ray of light. Just hold my hand, for I am with you. Everything will be alright. When the trails of life come on you. When there is no end in sight. Just hold my hand, for I am with you. Everything will be alright.
