Hold Me, Now

I
don’t want
your
honeyed
moon-kissed touch;
not now
or
even
tomorrow...
fondling the skin
of your dusk
melts me
and
I’d fall...
but these arms
plead; hold
them
right now,
dazed!

And this is a dazzling poem my dear friend, Nette! I extremely love it and enjoyed the read. If this is for a contest, I'm sure it will do well.Thank you so much! Thank you so much as well for trying to answer my calls last time but I think it was wrong timing. So sorry for disturbing you and if I didn't hear you well. Maybe it's because I was inside my C room. Was tryin to tx back but ran out of load. I'll try again next time. TYSM. God bless! love lots and big hug, Leonora

I'm 'dazed' by this poem because it-it-well you know it-it's HOT in here (wonder why) and my air condition's running full blast too (Maybe it's low on Freon?) I think you got another winner here my friend - Tim

Goodness, the push-and-pull scheme of a woman fires this enticing poem up. What else have you got under your sleeves, Nette, aside from "not now; right now." Watch out, it's gonna be raining men!

The slow surrendering to sweet desire is brilliantly highlighted in your poem. Is there a 7 plus?
