I laughed out loud at the last line! I reckon listening to repeats of the news, stirs up the social agitation, sadness and frustration that can make one sort of poetry but not the other. Time spent one on one with a dear one, or small child or dog outdoors slows things down and is poetic in itself I think. Seasons of life :)
