Hit Or Miss

In the middle of the lake, I was in a metal boat
A storm brewed lightening, where I was afloat

At least you were not in a 'holy boat' --- or at least, not yet. Good luck, my friend! :) gw

Right! LoL. Thanks for the humor tonight and your comment. It was an incident of being caught in a quick storm like that , that is never forgotten :)

It was definetly anxiety provoking /scary. But, It was fine weather when we went out in it. A storm came up suddenly, when on the other side of the lake. Thank you for your kind comment Eve. and...you are welcome for my words on yours. It appears the person has now done the same to another poet too. I have blocked. Goodnight :)

Hi Heidi well done here. I`m not sure if I captured the essence of the topic quite like you did. A bit confusing for me when I did mine. I enjoyed this. Yeah you dont want to be out on the water during a storm. Thanks for sharing this and best of luck in the contest. Ive noticed you do well in the contest and you should do the same here. congrats

Hi Thank you Gregory. It is actually a true story from years ago that came to mind, with a 'reaction' to something shocking. I don't know if I did it right, as she wanted or not. I appreciate your comment of encouragement :)
