History Lessons With Humour

I thought history was a bore
But the more I research
The more I adore
So much to learn, I cannot ignore
There is the need to want too explore
I have to know more about this great war
Therefore, I will continue to learn even more
Great men before me
Tell me the truth
What brought on the world war
Power and greed
Money and wealth
Status and class
The truth at last
Great men before me
I raise my glass
Thank you for the history lesson that showed me
That not all of the great men of our pass are jack ass.
