His Warmth

So consuming
And Compelling
Is the ever burning desire
To feel His warmth

The music fades
The light grows dim
The atmosphere charged
The body feels warm by the second
Later the sweat glands opened
And tiny waters flowed

Then a little blow of the air
The nerves were tended
When an external desire ensued
So much that every hair stood
And the heart pounds faster than a V8 piston

With full strength the longing leapt
To a height that no hand can reach
The muscles of the eye lost their potency
And the eyelids dropped often

No sound except the heart beat was heard
The legs grew weak
Then the whole body crumbled
Helplessness prevailed till the voice spoke
‘I am with you always’.
