His Socks Are Pink

Amsterdam,Netherlands 10/5/09 Madame Tossoe A stranger on the street He fumbled around the streets Nothing left to eat Doing his day job like every other day Just this day was different This day he wore new shoes The first he called his own And he wore them to show off To the world But world sat back And watch as the stranger begged and begged But since he was wealthy enough for shoes Why should he get any more? So the man took off he shoes Still baring no socks His insanely stinky feet Scared off the rich costumers And one girl passed his feet and poured loads of nickles in his cup **I wanted him to buy new pairs of socks**

LOL. I would've given him my socks, but that is worse for noses. If he had pink socks, I would've donated in the name of pricelessness. "This day he wore new shoes / ...to show off / To the world." That stanza is so brilliant.
