in a million words,
I couldn’t say
my heart’s trembling, thumping away
apprehensive
yet full of thanks…
as his light softly touches
my lips – a soulful silence
still as the music who plays
when the wind seeks her lovers
the leaves, the trees…
seem to shudder, erasing the past
with a joy that flutters awake
stirring, encouraging, embracing
so the light falls over the last story
of yesterday, the moment
when his lips held my own
in a silent thought,
a breathless poem…
written by two hearts, pouring out
love that is beyond words,
love that cannot be heard…
love this alive is assured, secure, sure
love that comes from the kiss
that just keeps blowing, blowing, blowing
in the satiny sounds
of wind who keeps coming around.
His kiss is like the moment I found
a story that wouldn’t make a sound
yet, would tell of love that feels alive
love that will always survive,
whatever comes, I’ll always know
His kiss breathed light through my soul
His kiss is a kiss that I know
comes to bring hearts hope
a kiss meant to sing joy
through every thought
a kiss that means love is most surely A L I V E
more powerful than the stories I write,
more wonderous than the feelings that abide
reminding me why I’m A L I V E…
He kissed away the shadows of my life
with a gentle that left me full of hope
a song that sings light to my soul!
