His All Seeing Eye: For Mystic Rose Contest

Jesus has my heart and soul.
It's wrapped up in His love.
And when He puts His hand in mine,
it fits me like a glove.

Each time I turn to Him in prayer,
like my best friend, He's always there.
And when my thoughts are calm and still,
then in my heart, I hear His Will.

I seek God in the morning,
before I start my day.
And in the evening, He is there,
listening to my every care.

When troubled times cross my path,
and I think I hear the devil laugh,
Jesus let's me know He's near,
and wipes away my every tear.

You can read in the Bible,
where God's all seeing eye
moves to and fro. (Prov.15:3)
I think He's looking out for us,
and that's a comforting thought to know.

My heart goes out to the unsaved,
whose calloused hearts do not perceive
the love of God they could receive.
Everlasting life is offered to all,
who answer salvations clarion call.

A beautifully written poem, Darlene, which reminds us how deeply personal our God wishes our relationship with Him to be, and how He is always there for us when we call upon His Name.

Thank you, Rev. Samuel for what you have shared with me. You sound very successful and live a blessed life. Do you appreciate a good, clean joke? I heard one this morning from Minister Joel Osteen on TV who likes to begin his message with a joke. This preacher was saying, "I wish I could throw all the beer in the world into the river. And all the whisky and all the wine, too!" At the end of his sermon he said,"Now we'll have a song from the choir. And they started singing,"Shall we gather at the river...."I just thought you might get a laugh out of that as I did. Blessings, Darlene
