THE EMPTY BED
WAITS
COVETING
THE PRESENCE
THAT USED TO DWELL
BETWEEN THE SHEETS
NAKED AND BLISSFUL
CURLED UP BESIDE HER
THE GIRL
WHO TOSSES AND TURNS
WANTING
SHE LAYS
COLD AND HOLLOW
POSSESSED BY LONELINESS
ACHING FOR A SOUL
TO FILL THE VOID
IN THE EMPTY BED
THAT ONCE WAS FILLED
WITH LOVE
AND YOU.
