Him

Someone
I look up to
Long time ago

Small talk
Not much
But a lot of glances

Seeing him
Giving me a sense of warmth
Turning me into a cat
Head butts and rubbing
Never been so safe

Somehow I know
He is good man
Not ordinary one

He has manners
The way he speaks and does
Firm but gentle
Intrigues me deeply

Such a rare breed
That puts me in deep awe
Of how simple he is
Yet impacts me so much inside

It is like giving me hope
Without him saying things to me
Strange beauty

Appreciating his existence
His heart and soul

Unknowningly
He saves my life

Leaving me speechless
Able to smile again
Finding who I am
Before the world takes over

Thank you...
