Hills of San Franciso

     When you arrive in San Francisco, 
     You can't just be a couch potato!
     Hills rise and fall with a crescendo.
     You might want to sit.
     But that's just the pits.
     Rise up, climb those hills with bravado!

The pristine city of the 70's has changed, I eloped there from Chicago, when I was 19, that was an adventure, I wrote about! But the views there are truly incredible! No, could not do that any longer. I spent time in Chinatown and North Beach. City lights Bookstore was there! It was a hip p,ace for poets to meet. North Beach had many writers. Things have changed.
