Hidden Words To Touch

These words we fail to utter-flutter beneath our lips,
Hesitant, to touch a topic we must’nt breach.

Urgently-hurry, Love, to seal these lips together-
to taste my secrets,I yours, (your pain, hesitance, and fears,)
Love-come swiftly- to warm the skin drained cold, void of touch and passion.

How do we lose the flow of words we used to breathe together?
How do these moments hold our silences so loudly?

We fear to say what the other fears to hear, so we bleed for each other Dear.
Hurry Love- embrace my heart to feel its pulse,
the pumping of the life we no longer share.
