Hidden Treasures

Dawn paints the clouds with
Hazy washes bright with
Diamond dew.
Winter sadness melting
In the fledgling sunlight.

Spring crocus reflecting
Saffron, pearl and purple
Jewels sparkling
In the swirling silver
Threads of misty morning.

Snowdrops capped in valour
Bravely rise through strands of
Emerald moss
Bluebells drape the woodland
Floor with lapis splendour.

Daffodils alight with
Gold and citrine blazing.
Nature’s promise
Cherry blossom floating
On the quickening breeze.

Hidden treasures waking
To the warmth of springtime.
Feel the heartbeat
Rhythm pulsing with the
Sense of life emerging.
