Hidden In the Past

Sometimes I'd wish you'd see,
See the pain,
All this suffering.

Brought upon a man
I hardly seemed to know.

I wish you would know,
How the world looked
Through my eyes.

I wish you could understand

The feelings I felt,
Were none like a demand...
They felt true
So everlasting.

Until you changed.
And that went away -

Every night the memorys
come back.
Every other night
I still cry.

I feel this pain
Deep inside.

With no one to turn to,
I stay to myself.

Only learning ,
I need to be strong...
Because being strong
Was the only thing left.

Especially since
I'm in this alone.

I'll move on,
But my heart will always
know...
You'd never understand.
You'd never see,

How much I truly did
Love thee.
