Hidden Beauty

She was plain of face and form
Someone noticed by very few
Of quiet voice and few words
Inner beauty hidden from view

A tender heart so full of love
Her soul as pure as driven snow
My mother, with work worn hands
As beautiful as anyone I know

I believe that a mother/daughter bond has no match in the human equation. The love that you have for her is remarkable and so self evident in this poem. Emile. #7

Mothers really are special. I think they inspire our best efforts in poetry. At least, I really like what you have created here.
