Quite like the animal touch of a winter that prowls. Here in the frozen north I can vouch for the often vigorous pounce of winter. Enjoyable read. Best wishes, Brian

Thank you so much Brian! So glad you enjoyed this haiku. Used to live close to the mountains along with working in the mountains. Experienced the none to playful "pounces" of winter many times. Hope you are well. All the best!

Hi Andrea! It makes me happy to know you liked this haiku. Grateful! It is one of my favorites. Hope you are well. Looks like winter in the Wasatch has been mild. We have just had a full week of prowling winter weather and snow in the mountains! Best wishes and blessings my friend!

No sign of the snowdrops yet Sam, we're forecast heavy snow in the uk, beast from the east they're calling it. Tom

Can you tell how far behind I am in answering emails! Mea culpa! We have snowdrops in pots at our front door. They are still asleep but the Daphne is already awake. Did your "beast from the east" arrive? We just had a powerful storm drench us with rain for about a week. The mountains got several feet of snow! Take care. Over Fork Over!
