Hiatus

This year I took a hiatus from life,                                                                                                      going on trips and seeing groups I love.                                                                                                          
Spring is coming,                                                                                                                                                               Easter will be here real soon.                                                                                                                   Now for Lent what do I give up,                                                                                                     40 days and 40 nights to come.                                                                                      This year I have sacrificed,                                                                                              a year of 365 days and 365 nights.                                                                                  Much more than 40 days and 40 nights required,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           this year my Lent has been paid in full.
