Hey June

Note: It has been raining it seems for the past 6 weeks here in South Texas and the temps have been much lower than normal. I am getting a bit tired of it and want summer to get here quickly. So I wrote this.
Sung to the tune of "Hey Jude" by The Beatles

Hey June,
why aren’t you dry
There are dark clouds
and rain is falling
Remember,
the sun should be in the sky,
it should be dry,
so quit your stalling

Hey June,
bring on the heat
It is chilly
and getting wetter
Remember,
last year when you were so hot,
bet you forgot,
now I need a sweater

So bring the summer season again,
Hey June,
begin
we can’t take these days
that seem much colder
Don’t you know that it’s not cool,
to see the pool
while feeling the rain
upon our shoulders

na na na na na, na na na na

Hey June,
don’t be like May
Take these gray days
and make them brighter
Remember,
to let these showers depart,
then you can start
to make it better, better, better, better, better, better, ahhhhhhhhh

Na na na na, na na na na, na na na na, Hey June

Ran into this again, Chris. I like your lyrics so much. Step aside, Paul McCartney. Let your guitar 'go Green!' Kudos, Gershon

Great sing along, Chris. It has really been warm and humid; no pool for me, never could swim. :) Stay cool my friend .

That is funny, cause I got in the pool yesterday and it was 94 and sunny but for some strange reason I got the chills. it took me awhile to get warm again too.
