Hey, Hey It's Autumn Today
Hey, hey it’s autumn today, and the leaves are falling down.
Crunch, crunch as we step on them everyone’s out and walking around.
Caw, caw the black crows cry-goodbye to the songbirds flying south.
Dig, dig goes the little squirrel carrying the acorns in his mouth.
Long, long the shadows fall on these chilly, sun-drenched days.
Blessed, blessed with this lovely gift before winter turns the blue skies grey.
