Hesitant

A big conclusion by tomorrow I must hurry up and reach.
It's about what I am to ‘do’ with my doggy “boy, Billy ‘Blue’.”
Half-wittingly I just keep vacillating between two notions.
My mind is ‘churning’; my thoughts ‘turning’ like a tsunami.
A bouncy cute but "crazy critter" is making me feel so daft.
'He' may ‘BE’ in control of ‘ME’, a “bungling fur baby’s” Mama.
Do I give him back this Monday? Oh, I need to decide by then.
No ‘napping' for all his ‘yapping,’ but “his eyes” are "so sweet!"

Hi Andrea, I can feel you are sad, over what to Do with Billy-blue..Yet if you are being really Stressed out that's no fun for him.' Either, I Wish you well in what happens; do give him a Pat me from me also.'

He is gone now. WE surrendered him to the breeder and last night my cats came to me more than before, so I think the dog around was also affecting my relationship with the two cats. I miss Billy but I made the right decision

Just a thought, call a trainer and maybe he or she could help guide your decision. Had to smile at the poem though, having had similar situations in my life. Adorable but a problem. Excellent write!

they wanted too much money and I tried PetSmart's group and it was a really bad program. Anyway, Billy is gone now, hopefully to the wonderful life of a stud dog!!

This really made me laugh No ‘napping' for all his ‘yapping,’ You are really talented Andrea, I could never do this form. Honestly, there is not a whole lot of forms I actually have tried, I just write what the muse of the moment leads my pen! You did really well with this I think! Good luck with Billy Blue, furbabies can be quite the handful when they're young. They mellow out with age. I had a dog named Spot when I was young, I wrote a poem about him. He was a handful as a puppy :) <3

WEll, my two cats are enough for me. I just had them fixed and now I have to keep them separated somehow from Billy. He is barking for attention this very moment, which gives me the incentive I need to realize he just isn't going to work out. The breeder will be able to get him placed with hopefully a home with kids.

Is this an 'A's Have it' entry? I had a hard time with trying to make the last letter of the last word of each line spell what I wanted - I found that to be a difficult challenge! Good luck with your poem and your decision!

I agree with Milt. It's difficult but actually I've tried harder ones!

This is the most difficult contest I have ever contended with. I would get one thing down and realize I had messed up another. It's so hard to juggle three different requirements. Anyway, I finally got one and submitted it...hopefully. Good luck in your efforts, Jeff.

Don't use any words with I in them . It's REALLY hard to find a good normal word that ends with an I!!! See how all I could come up with was tsunami!

Yes, I need to hurry and add that to the bottom of the poem. I was trying so hard to match everything up with quotes, etc. Now to the other part!!! I was going to have Billy blue neutered along with my male cats in the morning, but I'm holding off now. The breeder we got him from says she will take him back probably but it's best he not be neutered, so then he can be used as a stud. I feel horrible. But I can't seem to train him very well and it's very frustrating because the dog was supposed to be my husband's , not mine. Of course, I got left with doing everything and I'm just not a dog person. My hubbie doesn't seem to even care what happens, and that makes me sad because Billy is a good dog, if he only could have a person who knew how to deal with him.
