When God writes the story, His poetry is like music
Filled with blessings, warm and honest – sincere as the love He grants
When God sends the promise, His light frees the spirit
Leaving the shadows with assurance that His light quietly enchants
When God sings to the soul, His redemption stirs the stars
Revealing the serenity of a faith who is always the heart’s confidantes

When God writes a story, His pen is etched in gold
Stilling all the fears and writing the moments with peacefulness
When God sends His promise, His kindness is so bold
Wiping away the darkness with a beauty that is beyond words
When God sings the song, His love erases all the tears of old
Delighting the spirit with hope that goes on – everlasting, ageless

When God writes the story, His expressions fill the heart
Risking the shadow’s darkness to sing grace that stirs the night
When God sends His promise, His kindness is ever great
Falling like dew on the roses – heaven sent, a shimmering so bright
When God sings through the wind, His peace echoes the scent
Blessing away the past’s hatefulness with wonders to excite

When God writes the story, His words kindle hope’s flames
Sparking the passions of kindest consideration, love’s grace
When God sends the promise, His does just what He claims
Offering the spirit His presence, the beauty of His Holy Spirit
When God sings through the life, His music never ever shames
Instead He replaces all disgrace with love from His gentle embrace

When God writes the story, His pen never stops composing
This beautiful tale is made of love that is always proposing
To let go of the past and bring hearts through, disclosing
The grace that frees, the grace that believes, transposing
All the fears and tears, bringing the new to life, unclosing
The story that will last, the poetry that forecasts, the very best –

Love that comes to life beneath the whisper of the wind,
The gentle that sends its caress, the kiss of light who’ll remind
Answers that always reach past the sin, to the soul divined
Where God Himself will enter in… and His love defined 
He will always write faith to the heart, sight to the blind –
A promise of peace with hope, faith and love combined!

This is the story He writes – the story, the song, the sense 
Of eternal sentiments, everlasting sensitive, endless blessings –
For all those who believe He came despite the expense,
This Savior who loves more than words can reveal, His story is real –
He will forever write grace to the soul, never leaving you in suspense,
Saving so that, whatever comes, His love will lead you home.
