I struggle through the darkest storms,
Lifting my hands for Him to see,
It is my heart that His love reforms,
As I fall down on bended knee.
He is the light who blesses me,
With joy, hope, love and belief,
His gentle love is deeper than the sea,
As it fills my soul, silencing all grief.
I sometimes worry that I’m not enough,
But He assures me of true love,
Love so strong it is tougher than tough.
It is a reminder of the glory from above.
He is the moment when my life was changed.
Because He is, I will ever know grace.
He is the stillness my heart exchanged,
For the darkest dread – His light I embrace.
I never forget that without Him, I am wrecked.
His love and kindness keep me elated,
Love like this is so exciting – it’s simply perfect,
Without Him beside me, I’d feel so deflated.
He is the spark in the star’s glow,
His melody is like a gentle poem,
Love like this, I’ll never outgrow,
This love moves so I must show Him.
I feel like He already knows my thoughts.
When I struggle or doubt, He can hear.
He solves each puzzle, connecting the dots,
Preparing my soul for when He will appear.
He’s my Savior, the One for whom I sing,
When I can’t even breath a prayer, He knows,
The joy that lives inside because He is the King,
The hope, faith and love I feel because He arose.
I’ll never know the loneliness of life without hope,
Because He is always with me, everywhere I go,
Leading me past the sorrows, assuring me I can cope,
Because He prepares my spirit for His amazing flow….
He’s my King and when I listen to His voice,
There is not a doubt, love pours over my life,
He’s my King and I know Him, so I can rejoice.
His love heals me and takes away all my strife.
He’s my King and to Him, I’ll always sing…
Let the love flow – as my heart will ever know,
He’s the answer to all doubt, the One to whom I’ll cling,
His spirit assures me of the love He’ll bestow.
He’s my KING and I owe Him everything!
