Here I Lie

I hear the footsteps trod
Above on new laid sod

They put me in this grave
A life I bravely gave

Wars go on while some die
I was one - here I lie

Heaven waits so they say
More than this hole I pray

oh my, to lie in the ground , one's spirit actually still in the ground, that is a very sad thing to think about. But the message of this poem is fantastic and I really love this poem. For me a fave. Congrats for your number one win, Larry.
