Herbie
Engine check light on-
My old friend,
What happen?
Let's talk like men,
"You're suppose to be The Man!"
Six pack of fine oil,
Premuim fuel,
High on those octane,
You'll buzzing into the 90s,
Pushing light speed,
Ready for a west coast beach run!
But,
NO!
In you go,
Garage-
Herbie my companion ride,
Year of 2001,
VW Bug,
Fully load,
German made,
You'll it!
Only 62,000 miles,
Come on!
Not close to the golden moments yet.
250 dollars out of my wallet,
Little part of repair,
An half an hour later,
Out the shop you roll,
Pertending nothings wrong.
Now!
Understanding I have when a woman say she felt let down.
No hard feeling my friend,
Next car a herbiess,
With her,
She will have a good excuse,
Female.
I know all about the same old line,
With those oily teardrops,
"Sorry Honey, do you not thing I am worth the expense?"
Lifting up her fender,
Showing off her white wall wheel with a twinkling smile.
P.S. Had to find humor writing after seeing that car repair bill, only two days
before Christmas-
