Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: In the quest for answers – she trembles, Will God accept or reject her? Her heart doubts, worries, dreads… Will darkness surround her when she leaves, This world behind, a carving in time. Is she headed to the wonder of heaven’s light? Will the devil come to silence her when God lifts her up? When time has left her amid the promises… Peace, assurance, a need for His gifts - priceless grace, Will faith sustain? Will Jesus send for her? Will love make a way, even a trail? Can He still her fears? In the pursuit of God’s response, His reassurance, Comforting her hesitant heart, her… Suspicions that she will never make it into that place, Heaven, where all her hope is hidden, Beneath shadows of doubt, layers of fear, Questions that seem to bring her to places – where is He? Is He near? Death, a shadow for her heart to travel through, An echo that erases her past and melts away every distress, With the promise of His endless rest… Will she see Jesus, her ultimate Prince – King of Kings, His light, softly glowing and revealing the secrets, Love overflowing into her spirit, heartening her soul, Inviting her to worship the Son, Her life’s greatest joy, The reason that knowing – He has come for her… Brings peace that never fades, peace that sings of faith, Peace that soothes and stays… eternally, forever, always, Singing to her of His beauty and kindness, The warmth of His light, bleeding through her night, Stirring her appreciation for the wonder of God’s blessings. Will she remember, when she sees Him – To tell Him she is grateful, because He made a way for her, Because of His wonderful plan, she is forever saved – From the fears that bring to life all the reasons that she’s unfit, For this amazing that is His gift, this perfect… That only He can give – because it is Jesus that saves us, From the worst fate there is… Living throughout time without our magnificent Prince! Yes, she lives for Him – the One who saved her tortured soul!

you've beautifully described the feelings and questioning of a troubled soul. Evocative and set but hopeful in the end. Well done...have a splendid evening, Sara
