Her Sanctuary
And as she enters
Into that quiet place
The wind spreads peace
Though the wild flowers
She lays down in tranquility
Closing her eyes in waves
As the light of day begins to rise
And the earth slowly revolves in sighs
She can hear the eagles circling cries
A smoke like mist covers fields and rivers
The dew of morning adds pearls
To her brow with a shiver
She arches her body and gives a quiver
She stays and shares her breath
The day now waning, into a night
of peaceful death
She watches the day bloom and fade
Like a wilting flower in the shade!
