Her Revenge In Georgejonesville
She said we could climb one of those TALL TALL TREES
And that we could make it though they sway in the breeze
She said, "This is it through the WINDOW UP ABOVE"
"We're real lucky to find it, now give me a shove!"
"The windows not locked, and that's lucky too!"
"It seems, I ALWAYS GET LUCKY WITH YOU"
I hope SHE THINKS I STILL CARE, because I do
Since HE STOPPED LOVING HER TODAY she's been blue
I offered a chair with a "little rubber foot" gone................(LRF)....Thanks Jan!
She said, I DON'T NEED YOUR ROCKIN' CHAIR, hon
I said, "Now of this statue, I'll break off the left hand"
She said, "Not that one Yoda, the other statue was planned"
So I broke off THE RIGHT LEFT HAND this time
She said, "Ok now, we'll fill their shoes with lime!"
"You're WHO'S GONNA FILL THEIR SHOES", I had to shout
"I need the John because, YESTERDAYS WINE wants out!"
She said, "Don't take THE GRAND TOUR, be back at the chime!"
I said,"I'm not doin' science, but I'M STILL DOIN' TIME."
THE RACE IS ON, the clouds no longer WHITE
LIGHTNING has struck more than a few times tonight!
She said, "Here's A PICTURE OF ME WITHOUT YOU!"
"THE ONE I LOVED BACK THEN, found someone new"
Then she smashed that picture all over the floor
We climbed down and never, went there anymore!
