Her First Diamond Sparkled Her Seconds Gonna Shine

Id like to think what she writes Is somehow meant for me The notes she posts in public Are secrets only I can see Is it new beginnings That we seek to find Or proof that fate can sometimes wait For when the time is right Her first diamond sparkled Her second’s gonna shine The gifts that we’re both grateful for Are part of its design Thru the years we’ve held on In each other we confide Her first diamond sparkled Her second’s gonna shine Looking back on the day When we... became friends Is now a stark reminder Of how I hope we end We can’t replace a lost embrace But I’ll be damned if I won’t try May our journey end With her.. by my side Her first diamond sparkled Her second’s gonna shine The gifts that were both grateful for Are part of its design Thru the years we’ve held on In each other we confide Her first diamond sparkled Her second’s gonna shine Here I am to speak again What lays so heavy on my mind Her first diamond sparkled But her second’s gonna shine Her first diamond sparkled But her second’s gonna shine
