Her Eyes

Shutting my eyes and I see more clearly
Than whilst I wake,to visions dull and dreary
Through darkened dreams and troubled times
Though night might fall with blackness that binds
I would that they'd remain ever closed
That I might remember your sight,
And the light that it holds.
