Her Company
Somewhere on the horizon when the day retires
The dusk slides up in dark attire
In the courtyard of my thoughts
Someone lights a lamp to refill my desire.
Without a reason my breath becomes heavy
My eyes well up sharing space with empty
Then with a flutter, moving like a dove
Someone touches me, Is it you my love?
The moon now looks at me awkwardly
Bathing me in her sympathy
I sigh as I soak her in completely
My heart now grateful for her company.
